What are EcoChipz™?

EcoChipz™ are the rewards points you earn when you buy products through our website.  EcoChipz™ can be redeemed for coupons to purchase more products or donated to environmental causes.


Can I earn EcoChipz™ on all products?

EcoChipz are not available for purchases through our retailer partners, as well as for purchases from EcoDining, EcoTravel, EcoResidence and EcoEntertainment listings.  See this icon: for products that are sold through our retail partners.


How does EcoPlum™ determine which products are environmentally sound?

EcoPlum uses third party certification, eco-labels and other screening agencies to select products and vendors for the EcoShop. Please see our list of eco-labels.

What is the minimum amount of EcoChipz™ needed to reedeem a coupon?

You must have a minimum of 150 points to redeem a coupon.  Click here to see our rewards chart.  To redeem your points please call 1-888-730-9990 or send an email to ecochipz@ecoplum.com.

What if I can't find the products I want in the EcoShop?

If you can't find what you are looking for in our EcoShop, you can still shop through our affiliate partners, and we'll donate 50% of our proceeds to one of the environmental causes we support.

I don't understand how to submit an EcoClipz.

You must have a YouTube account where you have already uploaded your video.  Each video on YouTube has a unique ID - it is the last part of the URL.  For example, Gia's welcome video on YouTube is at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FUHGRzwzNQo,
so the ID for this is "FUHGRzwzNQo".  Enter this unique ID where it requests the Clip ID:

I logged in when I was in the EcoShop, now I am not showing as logged in.

For security purposes, you are no longer logged in when you leave the EcoShop and enter one of our other sections.  Logging in for other sections is only required to submit comments, rate items, and submit EcoTipz and EcoClipz.  Likewise, when you are logged in our other sections, you are logged out when you enter the EcoShop.  You must log in again to access your address book and other stored information in the EcoShop.

What does this icon mean?

Products with the icon will take you to the retail partner site to shop and check out.
Products available through our retail partners are not eligible for EcoPlum Coupons or EcoChipz.
