On Friday, April 29th, the Truck Farm was parked in our school yard all afternoon. After viewing the short film about the creation of the Truck Farm and other examples of urban agriculture (www.Truck-Farm.com), K-4th grade students got a chance to visit the mobile farm and ask questions of Truck Farm co-creator Curt Ellis. Students learned that there are all kinds of ways to grow fresh vegetables in New York City, even in the back of an old pick-up truck!
