It may be cold outside, but things are heating up in New York City. Tonight is the 12/12/12 concert for Sandy relief and it’s being called the biggest music event in history. With performances from Paul McCartney, Bon Jovi, Bruce Springsteen, Kayne West, Eric Clapton, Alicia Keys, The Who and the Rolling Stones, it’s no wonder the concert is sold out. All the proceeds from ticket sales will go to the Robin Hood Relief Fund, an organization dedicated to helping the victims hit the hardest by Hurricane Sandy.

Hurricane Sandy Relief and Recovery - How to Help

We are all so saddened by the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy.  My heart goes out to the families who lost loved ones in this tragedy, as well as all those who lost their homes, belongings, cars, and jobs.  I thank each and every one of the heroic first responders who put their lives at risk to save others.  Now, a week after the storm, we are all still amazed by the amount of destruction and despair in the most affected areas:  the Rockaways, Staten Island, the Jersey Shore, Breezy Point, Coney Island, Downtown Manhattan, and so many other places.  I've been trying to do what I can to help, along with my family, and wanted to pull together a list of ways everyone can help.
