Save the Envrionment.Org: More Arctic Drilling? SHELL, NO!

Shell Oil recently announced that it will not drill in the Arctic Ocean in 2013! But, unless we act now, this reprieve will be temporary – Shell intends to resume its dangerous Arctic drilling operation next year.

Shell's history of failing equipment and careless accidents in our Arctic means there's no time to waste. An oil spill in our Arctic waters is not a question of "if," but "when."

We must use this "pause" to convince the Obama administration to put a stop to Arctic drilling before a spill occurs, which would be devastating for this pristine wilderness and its wild inhabitants.

NRDC: Save Whales From Deadly Sonar!

The U.S. Navy's plan for testing and training with dangerous mid-frequency sonar and explosives could kill more than 1,000 marine mammals over the next five years. Tell the National Marine Fisheries Service to reject the Navy's reckless plan and put safeguards in place that will protect marine animals without compromising military readiness

350.org: Pledge to stand in the way of Keystone XL

350.org: Pledge to stand in the way of Keystone XL.

The Keystone XL pipeline would connect the tar sands in Alberta, Canada to oil refineries on the Gulf Coast. It would stretch 1,700 miles and cross 6 states, threatening freshwater supplies in America's agricultural heartland and deepening our dependence on some of the dirtiest energy on the planet.

Keystone XL must be stopped. And we're not going away until it is. Take this pledge to add your voice and join us for future actions.

Sierra Club: Join the new Future Fleet campaign - Tell the soda giants to slash their oil use!

These three companies have all taken important environmental strides, but we don't have forever to solve the climate crisis. The beverage giants own over 100,000 vehicles between them, and guzzle more oil than nearly any other industry. If they agree to slash their oil consumption and avoid tar sands fuels, it will be a big step forward for the climate.

This is just the first effort of the new Future Fleet initiative from the Sierra Club and ForestEthics. We'll push America's biggest companies to take responsibility for their oil consumption, using our own secret formula: the grassroots power of over 2.1 million supporters like you.

Use your power as a consumer to help the climate -- send your letter below asking Coke, Pepsi, and Dr. Pepper-Snapple to slash oil use and kick the tar sands habit!

Credo Action: Stop the Grand Canyon uranium mine!

The U.S. Forest Service is allowing a Canadian company to open a destructive uranium mine on the south side of the Grand Canyon, flying in the face of a major ban on new uranium mining at the Grand Canyon, passed last year by the Obama administration

Tell the U.S. Forest Service: Don't allow uranium mining on the Grand Canyon.
